10-10-10 Perfect 10 Date Auction Funds to benefit LBT Health at YWCA

I would like to invite, encourage and twist your lovely arms behind your backs to have you attend the upcoming second Perfect 10 Date Auction benefiting LBT Health of the YWCA next Sunday (read on).  As many of you know, Ingrid works smartly and tirelessly to fill a gap originally left by the closing of Verbena to bring much needed mammograms, breast exams and pap tests to women in need.  This event will help fund a scarcity of grant money that all non-profits are dealing with.  Please come out and support her efforts and support women in our community that need these services.

The event is an auction where you can bid on 'date' packages and enjoy entertainment presented by the  featured auctionee's.  Let me explain as I know this has been a little confusing to people.  You bid on the items and win them, not the person, sorry :~).

So, for example the lovely Fuschia Foxx, will preform and Fuchsia's date package will be a VIP package to Girl4Girl Seattle and dinner for two at Sur (to be confirmed). You can bid on her 'date' package but you do not get to have a date with her...sorry folks!  She just was darling enough to garner the package and will preform for us too!  Still following me?

Perfect 10 Speed Dating this Friday the 9th

This Friday is Perfect 10 Speed Dating which I had the pleasure of attending last month to assist jenifa who is the doll that is putting this event on.  I had never been to the Southlake Grill before and was impressed with the location for this event.  We had the entire upstairs which was a nice set up as it was not too noisy and had the perfect privacy one would want with this kind of event.  We had our own bartenders and they were happy to bring good food up to us all evening.

There were almost an equal number of men and women that registered for the event.  TRAFFIC was horrible on this night and although it was I think perhaps a bit unconventional, we all visited together before the event started.  I was helping jenifa out for the evening although she had it together enough that I was able to enjoy hanging with a couple (yes, it did become known as the three-way table).  Everyone was having a good time!

The matching was done via secret handshake behind closed doors the next morning but what I did find out is that Perfect 10 has about a 80% rate of people meeting and wanting to go on a date afterwards!  Pretty kewl, I would say.  The evening seemed to be fun and relaxed for the participants and a whole bunch of us went out for pizza afterwards and frankly, the peeps were just nice folks.  One may not find their Perfect 10 the first night, but I bet you can find a perfect friend in the crowd and have a good time doing so.

Perfect 10 Speed Dating - Friday March 5th - Southlake Grill

This weekend is going to start out fabulous with a speed dating event that takes all the worry out of dating and leaves all the FUN in.  You can have dinner, bring your friends of either gender as they can enjoy a relaxing dinner while you are finding that special someone.  At 9pm there is a wonderful opportunity to socialize over Karaoke.  Ms T  

 

Perfect 10 Speed Dating* will take place FRIDAY, March 5th at Southlake Grill.

Event check-in will begin at 6:30pm. During this time, attendees are welcomed to order dinner from Southlake's award winning menu!

Speed dating will last from 7pm to 9pm with a 15 minute intermission. Attendees will have 10 minute dates with nine other singles. Meet members of the gayborhood in a fun and relaxing setting.
