Ladies ONLY Charity Clothing Swap Sunday, December 4th
This is going to be such a hoot! What a great way to hang with some of your favorite girlfriends! Have some brunch, catch up or meet up afterwards and show off your new-to-you clothes. I cleaned out my closets and have about 10 bags of clothes I am so HAPPY to be removing from my life. I cannot believe how many clothes I still have and that my closets are still full. This has already been a blessing. Join us!
Sunday December 4th
1pm - 4pm
Tully's Building, 3100 Airport Way S, Seattle, WA
It’s a lot of information, but it’s relevant. PLEASE READ ALL!
It's the biggest and best women’s clothing swap in the Northwest! Make good on your resolution to get rid of everything you haven't worn for a year or more. Socialize with a bunch of cool women. Pick up a few new-to-you outfits. It's time! Forward to your gal friends. Bring a female neighbor. The more women, the merrier!
About the location: it's a big complex - we'll be on floor 6R of the red building that has the huge Tully's "T" on top. Enter from the back road by the freeway next to a large "3150" sign spray-painted on the wall. You can use the loading zone right by this door to drop off clothes, but park down below by the Tully's drive through. We will tape the door lock open and put big signs by the entrance to point the way to the elevator, then post the elevator code and floor # inside.
Our charities this time include:
Northwest Harvest. Go through your cupboards and contribute non-perishable food to this great local organization.
Additionally, we are asking for cash donations to help a young woman named Veronica Daudi of Tanzania go to college. There will be an info sheet at the event with more details about her, or you can check out info about her in Nora's 'notes' here on facebook.

Jubilee Women's Center will be receiving the leftovers that are in good condition for homeless women to 'shop' for at their boutique. Donation receipts will be available at the event.
No one likes them, but here are the RULES:
NO boys, men, children under 13, or items for them. There are no dressing rooms or childcare. This is a chick fest. Prepare to see (and participate in) full nudity, or wear modest undergarments if you prefer to be less exposed.
Go through your closets and dressers and bring whatever you’re willing to part with. Please sort your clothing items before the swap by size (12 and under, 14 and over) and type (skirts, dresses, pants, tops, etc). This is a very large event and it's necessary to create some order within the chaos! You can still “shop” in whatever section you like. Consider packaging jewelry individually in snack-size ziplock bags.
Please DO NOT bring items other than ladies clothing and accessories that are in good condition. This is NOT a place to get rid of your stained, holey, broken-zippered, ripped, paint-splattered clothes. However, out-of-season clothes, costumes, formal attire, decent shoes, lingerie, and hats are welcome! It is also NOT a place to bring housewares, books, or knick-knacks. We just do not have the resources to deal with that other stuff.
Don't forget to bring donations if you’re able: food, toys, and cash. Even a little can go a long way. Remember, this swap is FREE, and you’re likely to find some good stuff that you might have even been willing to pay real money for. Snacky lunch items to share are also appreciated.
Did we mention no males or children or items for men and children?
Ladies willing to stay after to help with packing up the leftover clothing will be rewarded with Karma points and a donation receipt from the charity of their choice. If you’ve enjoyed a few of these swaps, please consider contributing a bit of time afterwards to help the process finish up that much faster. No one is getting paid to do this. Extra garbage bags are extremely useful, as are shopping bags for the Jubilee Women's center to re-purpose.
This is going to be so great! See you soon!
