Alki Spud's 75th Anniversary Party Prices on September 15th

Alki and Spud's go hand in hand and they will be celebrating their 75th Anniversary on Wednesday the 15th with a number of festivities and giveaways.  I have fond memories from my childhood of my parents taking me to Spud's as a treat as they knew the owners once upon a time.  Times were different --  we did not eat out as often as we do today and it was a special treat when we did.  I have a certain feeling of nostalgia with some of the places that are still standing in Seattle.  Here's to Spud's and those fabulous french fries.  Ummm ummm good.  Ms T.

Join Alki Spud, Wednesday September 15, for a full day of festivities featuring a net full of prizes and giveaways, including a proclamation from Seattle Mayor McGinn naming the official day 'Alki Spud Fish and Chips Day' in Seattle.

Other anniversary goodies include:
o free prize packs for the first 75 customers;
o $1.75 fish and chips with the donation of a canned food item to the West Seattle Food Bank ($2.75 without a canned food item, with $1 going to the food bank);
o a live marimba band playing rhythmic beach tunes; and
o a 75th anniversary prize wheel in which customers can spin to win one-a-kind collectibles and food prizes!
