Every year Ingersoll Gender Center throws a big party to bring the community back together to celebrate and review the year, to look forward and to connect with friends old and new.

This year SnowBall2011: The Snowball Effect is all about the amazing momentum building for justice and equality for our communities.  While there is still so much to do, the velocity for change is undeniable and our community is on a roll.

Come join us for good food and friends; stay for the entertainment, schmooze and celebration.  This year we are so excited to be holding SnowBall2011 at the beautiful Seattle City Hall Bertha Knight Landes room in downtown Seattle.  We will be joined by many friends including our gracious host city councilperson Sally Clark.

Inferno Hotflash bringing the heat on Saturday December 3rd

I am looking forward to attending this Saturday's Hotflash!  It is great to meet friends and remind folks that on the following Saturday(10th) they can get a breast exam, pap test or mammogram.  I hope that many of you will come out to the best dance in town and shake off some of that holiday food!  Ms. T.

Hotflash Inferno rocks it for Saturday night Halloween Celebration

Hotflash Inferno is the place to be on Saturday evening to celebrate Halloween at Neighbours from 6pm-10pm.  I am meeting a group of friends at the dance which makes it all the more fun!  DJ dirtyKURTY who spins the music at the California Hotflash Inferno dances will be keeping us moving through the night!  Pauline is also offering prizes for those that love to dress up!  Ms T.

Sharma Centers NEW dance event on 4th Saturdays

 The Sharma Center will be hosting a sexy dance on the 4th Saturday's that will set itself apart from other dances.  You can enjoy the amenities as well as dance and enjoy a drink.  Ms T.

The dance floor, massage room and social area are all casual, sexy wear and clothing optional and we have a bar next door.

Century Ballroom's Offerings for December and 2011 NEW Queer Schedule

As we are drawing upon another year's end I want to mention some of the offerings that Century Ballroom has added to their extensive schedule that are specifically for the queer community.  The main thing to note is starting in January the OutDancing Gay Events are changing from Friday to Saturday evenings.  Basically there will be queer dancing on most Saturdays evenings at Century!

Remember that often you can check the Seattle Announcements Calendar for information that is not found written here as it is updated even when I am not posting the information here (as this is really a dual gig keeping the calendar current and writing tidbits).  Century Ballroom has added this last year the addition of two more dance spaces, West and East Hall both located in Century's main building Oddfellows Hall.

For the month of December check out the regular dance classes intermingled with a little bit of spice.

Bellingham dances are heating up.  This is put on by 4 Women Dances and they have launched a website (was not working properly when I checked it and I sure understand that little problem!) that I hope they will use to post their dances on.  Currently they have been advertising via one particular lesbian group that is not inclusive of FTM's which is a thorn in my side.
