GLBT PEPS Support Groups for new parents - monthly meetings

I was blessed with participating with a PEPS group (Program for Early Parent Support) when my daughter was born and the women in my group and I became close friends.  We met for about 10 years and I have extremely fond memories of our time together learning to be parents.  I am so pleased to see that there is now a LGBT PEPS group available.  I have heard great things about this group so pass it on to your LGBT friends and let the others in your life know about PEPS, they are a wonderful organization!  Ms T.

LGBT Parents meet on
the first Thursday of each month
7:00 – 8:30 pm
Location: PEPS Conference Room, #326
Good Shepherd Center
4649 Sunnyside Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98103
Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender (LGBT) parents face a unique set of issues as they begin the parenting journey, and having a support system that includes other LGBT parents is important. This group focuses on shared support and community building, and features parent sharing, topic discussion and networking. Participants have the opportunity to share their stories, compare notes on the ups and downs of early parenting, and receive information in a comfortable, intimate setting. The group is drop-in and facilitated by a trained volunteer.

NOTE:  Because of Spring Break, we are meeting one week early this time.  Our meeting is on Thursday, March 25th at 7:00 pm!
